Manage Learning Credits

Learning Credits are registered and managed in an online database that tracks transactions, validates redemptions, and sends monthly statements. This tool, available 24 hours per day, allows you to view your credit balance, review account transactions, monitor the courses taken by individuals and departments in your organization, and generate reports.

Your Cisco Account Manager designates a Team Captain, LCMT administrator, for your company. The Team Captain is authorized to:

  • Manage credits for your company
  • Administer the tool
  • Receive monthly statements
  • Receive automatic notifications whenever a transaction occurs
  • Assign Team Players, additional users authorized to administer the tool

Cisco uses the contact information in the Learning Credits Management Tool to send transaction notifications as well as monthly statements. It is the customer's responsibility to maintain accurate contact information.

Contact your reseller or Cisco account manager to purchase Cisco Learning Credits.

The Learning Credit Management Tool is only accessible by customers and partners who have purchased Learning Credits. All company credits are registered in the Learning Credit Management Tool. You must have a Cisco.com user name and password in order to use the tool.

How to Redeem Cisco Learning Credits

Your Learning Credits are registered in the LCMT and are available for immediate redemption with a participating Cisco Learning Partner. Learning Credits are valid for one year upon purchase. Working with a Cisco Learning Partner, you select the training desired and agree on the number of Learning Credits required. You provide the registrar the Cisco Sales Order number as payment for the offering (the sales order number has already been entered by Cisco in the LCMT).

The Learning Partner validates that the Learning Credits are available for redemption. If the LCMT accepts, the Learning Partner completes the registration and debits your account accordingly. You receive a registration confirmation from the Learning Partner as well as notification from the LCMT that the credit balance has changed.

Cisco Learning Credits can be redeemed for authorized training whether classroom, web-based or custom training. Please check with the Learning Partner selected for specific redemption policy.
