The VPN Specialist certificate will be retired as of March 31, 2008. If you passed the VPN exam before February 1st, 2008 and pass the SND exam between February 1st, 2008 and March 31st, 2008, you will still be granted the VPN Specialist certificate. Cisco is continually working to keep programs relevant to industry needs and will be providing updates on its specialist certification programs throughout 2008.
