Release Notes
As always, customers are advised to do acceptance testing in their own test environments, and refer to the appropriate Release Notes and caveats, before deploying Cisco IOS software in production networks. Release Notes for 12.0 are available on CCO at: http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios120/relnote/index.htm
In addition, for information on a specific software issue, the Cisco Bug Navigator is available at: http://www.cisco.com/support/bugtools/bugtool.shtml
Please note that Cisco IOS Release 12.0 mainline does not support features, platforms or port adapters introduced in successive maintenance releases of 12.0-based early deployment releases. Cisco IOS 12.0 has concentrated more on integrating previous, time-proven Early Deployment releases (such as Cisco IOS 11.3T, 11.1CT, 11.1CC, 11.1CA) rather than the delivery of new leading-edge functionality. Customers requiring the latest IOS services should consider the parallel IOS 12.0T(Technology) release which includes all features in Cisco IOS Release 12.0 as well as the latest features and functionality. (Please note that 12.0T is an Early Deployment release and does not achieve GD.) Cisco has a tool available to help you determine the minimum supported software for each platform supporting Cisco IOS, at:
