Add Inputs to the Cisco Physical Access Gateway

The Cisco Physical Access Gateway supports a modular architecture that allows you to add inputs to the solution without needing additional Ethernet ports. You can use a Cisco Physical Access Input Module to connect up to 10 inputs. The Cisco Physical Access Input Module:

• Gives you the flexibility to configure each input as either supervised or unsupervised
• Eases deployment by letting you add input modules to the system without service disruption
• Lowers the overall cost of the solution by allowing an existing Cisco Physical Access Gateway to manage additional inputs

The Cisco Physical Access Input Module must be connected through a three-wire Controller Area Network (CAN) bus to the Cisco Physical Access Gateway. The device is externally powered from a 12 to 24 VDC source.
