The Cisco IP Storage Services Module smoothly integrates into the Cisco MDS 9000 Family of multilayer directors and fabric switches to deliver both Fibre Channel over IP (FCIP) and Small Computer System Interface over IP (iSCSI) storage services. The Cisco 8-port IP Storage Services Module supports eight Gigabit Ethernet interfaces; all ports are configurable for both FCIP and iSCSI.
