Cisco uBR10-LCP Line Card Processor and
Related Products End-of-Life Announcement
Cisco Systems, Inc. is announcing the end of sales (EOS), end of engineering (EOE), and end of life (EOL) of the Cisco uBR10-LCP Line Card Processor and all related bundles for the Cisco uBR10012.
The EOS date is November 15, 2002. Cisco will continue to support the uBR10-LCP Line Card Processor software for a period of two years, ending on November 15, 2004, and the uBR10-LCP Line Card Processor hardware for the period of five years, ending on November 15, 2007. Same dates apply to all affected products (see list below).
Milestone dates are listed in Table 1.
In August 2002, a new Line Card Processor (Cisco uBR10-LCP2 Line Card Processor) for Cisco uBR10012 will be available. This will be the only Line Card Processor for Cisco uBR10012 Series offered after November 15, 2002 (EOS date).
Customers who purchase new equipment are encouraged to choose the new Line Card Processor. Customers who have purchased the Cisco uBR10-LCP Line Card Processor and related bundles will be able to continue operate their systems with the original configuration for the five years of hardware support indicated above.
The Cisco uBR10-LCP Line Card Processor orderability will be closed on November 15, 2002. Replacement products listed above will be available and orderable.
