Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express and Cisco Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST) bundles for Cisco® 3800 Series Integrated Services Routers now offer more value: they now include 128-MB Compact Flash, 512-MB DRAM, and a default of Cisco IOS® Software Release 12.4(9)T.

All Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express and Cisco Survivable Remote Site Telephony bundles for Cisco 3800 Series (Cisco 3825 and 3845) Routers are enhanced with the following changes:
• Upgrade of Cisco IOS Software image to Cisco IOS Software Release 12.4(9)T from the current 12.4(3) Mainline Release
• Upgrade of Compact Flash to 128 MB from the current 64 MB
• Upgrade of DRAM to 512 MB from the current 256 MB
Note: (Voice + Secuirty (VSEC) versions of Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express and Cisco Survivable Remote Site Telephony bundles for Cisco 3800 Series already include 128-MB Compact Flash and 512-MB DRAM.)
All Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express and Cisco Survivable Remote Site Telephony bundles bundles for Cisco 2800 Series (Cisco 2801, 2811, 2821, and 2851) Routers are enhanced with the following changes:
• Upgrade of Cisco IOS Software image to Cisco IOS Software Release 12.4(9)T from the current 12.4(3) Mainline Release
• Upgrade of Compact Flash to 128 MB from the current 64 MB
These configuration upgrades do not result in any price changes to the affected bundles, nor do they change any of the part numbers for ordering the affected bundles.
These changes provide additional value in terms of additional compact flash and DRAM to enable deployment of new Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express or Survivable Remote Site Telephony features.

Cisco IOS Software Release 12.4(9)T integrates innovations that span multiple technology areas, including Cisco IOS Infrastructure, Security, Voice, Access, High Availability, Management Instrumentation, Quality of Service, IP Multicast, Broadband, IP Routing, and IP Services. VSEC bundles now support Cisco IOS Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) VPN, VPN-SSL Advanced Integration Module, and Cisco Group Encrypted Transport (GET) VPN without requiring an image upgrade.
The Cisco 3800 Series CME and SRST voice bundles have been enhanced with upgrades to default memory from 256 MB to 512 MB and Compact Flash from 64 MB to 128 MB, resulting in an additional $2400 value at the same price.

The Cisco 2800 Series Integrated Services Router CME and SRST (including voice + security (VSEC) version) bundles have been enhanced with upgrades to default Compact Flash from 64 MB to 128 MB, resulting in an additional $400 value at the same price.
