Cisco® announces the end-of-sale and end-of life dates for the Selected Enhanced Digital Voice Port Adapters for Cisco 7000 Series Routers. The last day to order the affected product(s) is April 30, 2008. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) as shown in Table 1 of the EoL bulletin. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product(s). Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement. For customers with active and paid service and support contracts, support will be available until the termination date of the contract, even if this date exceeds the Last Date of Support shown in Table 1.
This announcement affects several selected digital voice port adapters only. We encourage our customers to begin migrating to the currently shipping two-port Cisco T1/E1 High-Capacity Enhanced Digital Voice Port Adapter (product number PA-VXC-2TE1+), supported on the Cisco 7200VXR Series Router.

Product Migration Options
Customers are encouraged to migrate to the two-port Cisco T1/E1 High-Capacity Enhanced Digital Voice Port Adapter (product number PA-VXC-2TE1+). Information about this product can be found at: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/modules/ps2033/products_data_sheet09186a0080091cb2.html.
Please note that the products PA-VXC-2TE1+ and PA-VXC-2TE1+= will not be software-supported after Cisco IOS Software Release 12.4(15)T.

Customers may be able to continue to purchase the Selected Enhanced Digital Voice Port Adapters for Cisco 7000 Series Routers through the Cisco Certified Refurbished Equipment program. Refurbished units may be available in limited supply for sale in certain countries on a first-come, first-served basis until the Last Date of Support has been reached.
