Description
The DFM 1.2 Patch/IDU 1.2.10 is a collection of updated files necessary to provide support for the devices listed in the "New Device Support" section and the bug fixes listed in the "Resolved DFM Problems" section.
Like all patch/IDUs, Patch/IDU 1.2.10 is cumulative and contains:
•All of the device support provided by Patch/IDU 1.2.1 through 1.2.9, which is listed in the "New Device Support" section.
•All of the bug fixes provided by Patch/IDU 1.2.1 through 1.2.9, which are listed in the "Resolved DFM Problems" section.
•Information on the new script for listing ports and interfaces according to their type, name, group membership and managed status. For more information, see the online help by selecting Device Fault Manager > User Guide > Working with the DFM Inventory > Managing and Unmanaging DFM Inventory Elements > Listing Managed Ports and Interfaces.
•Information on the new InvalidResponse symptom for OperationalExceptions on SNMP agents. For more information, see the online help by clicking the Help button and selecting Device Fault Manager > User Guide > Faults and Exceptions Diagnosed by DFM, Table 3-2, and the Operational Exception topic.
•All new functions and updated online help, which are described in Table 1.
Caution You cannot remove Patch/IDU 1.2.10 after installing it. To return to your original configuration, you will have to uninstall and reinstall DFM.
Patch/IDU 1.2.10 contains only the updated files, not a complete DFM image.

Note You should print out and read this document before installing Patch/IDU 1.2.10.
New Device Support
Table 2 lists the device support provided by this patch/IDU. The object identifiers (OIDs) for all devices are provided in the device support table for DFM 1.2 and DFM 1.2 Updated for Common Services Version 2.2. You can view this table on Cisco.com by going to http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/rtrmgmt/cw2000/dfm/dev_sup/dfm1_2.htm.
IDU 1.2.10 provides the following new device support:
